Fabric Painting

Today was a super productive day, first I did the machine quilting for the Free Motion Quilting Challenge and this afternoon I had a play with my fabric paints.

Here are the results:
Sponged with salt

Not really sure if I like the sponged ones but am delighted with the scrunched ones.

These are all made using acrylic paints

I agree, I really like the scrunched fabrics. I was wondering what fabric that you use for your dying projects. I am learning to dye on muslin, but I want to start on better quality fabric and am taking a personal pole on what others are using.
Thanks in advance for sharing! Love your work.

Hi June

I use Robert Kaufman pfd fabric which I get from Hancocks of Paducah.
Love the feel of this fabric and it doesn't fray much so is great for applique.
Hancocks is one of the few that occasionally have free shipping to Singapore. Good luck with the dyeing!
