Today I did the first lesson from the Free Motion Quilting Challenge (see sidebar).
Hmm still need a bit of practice especially getting the leaves to look more random and not having them all facing the same way!
Really enjoyed seeing everyone elses work and it was great to see so many encouraging comments.
Quilters are such a nice bunch!
Tomorrow the ANZA Quilters are meeting again. Yippee!

Getting them to go in different directions was one of the hardest parts of the challenge. I did do better if I could turn the quilt but I forced myself to try making them all different ways without turning quilt.
