Designed by Master Luke, Age 10

Sometimes adults spend too much time thinking and not enough doing.  Today I was stumped as to what to do with some rocket ship motifs that I had collected and along comes my son Luke,

he draws me a design and......

 "hey presto" another fabric postcard. 

I made several others today too but I still think Luke's card was by far the best!

He was really excited when I wrote " Designed by Luke" on the back.

Christmas is coming!

I heard that there are only 116 sleeps until Christmas so today I spent the day in the sewing room making Christmas postcards as well as a few others.

The last card is still a work in progress.  I think it is in need of some "bling" to make it nice and sparkly!

More "girly" postcards

Yesterday I made some more "girly" postcards and these ones include some of my own hand dyed fabrics.  They are machine quilted with gold thread and feature gold trim.
